Power comes from a 160 kW (216 hp) electric motor, producing 295 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels. This setup allows the EV5 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 165 km/h. For added utility, the Kia EV5 boasts a towing capacity of up to 1.2 tonnes.

The new Kia EV5 will start at a competitive price of €45,990 for the entry-level Kia EV5 Air. Customers will have three trim levels to choose from: Air, Earth, and GT-Line.
